Kerry's phantom meeting - The Washington Times: Editorials/OP-ED - October 26, 2004

Kerry's phantom meeting - The Washington Times: Editorials/OP-ED - October 26, 2004: "'this president hasn't listened ... I went to meet with the members of the Security Council in the week before we voted. I went to New York. I talked to all of them.'
But that turns out not to be true. "
When a two-term sitting President lied about a personal relationship, his fans said that the lie was unimportant. Seems like this is important. If he starts out his relationship with the American people by lying, or at the very least exaggerating, shouldn't we expect that this kind of behavior will continue?
