Liberals' Wrinkled Brow
Perhaps the “Youth Vote” actually trended Republican. As I listen to Chris Matthews and Wolfie, their confusion amuses me. They are stunned that Bush’s message could appeal to anyone, but certainly not young people, who have traditionally blindly followed the Democrat’s idealistic message. It could be that faith, life, marriage, and terror all resonated with young people similar to its resonance with their parents. Furthermore, they may have reacted to 9/11 similarly to adults, where they were drawn to a more conservative core. Interesting…
