Priorities Unaligned

Maybe if the Pope had been half as concerned with the abuse scandal, men would look more nobly at the profession. Instead, men deciding whether they would like to turn their lives over to God in this way, know that the public will view them, at the very least, as possible pedophiles. The damage has been done. Now, he will just have to wait for memories to fade, and hope for no more lawsuits to reopen the wounds.
