What Side Are You On?
My Way News: "In an interview with The Associated Press on Monday, Iraqi interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi said his government was determined to hold the election as scheduled. He described those calling for a boycott as 'the eventual losers' and 'a small minority.'"
It seems to me that the sooner the elections happen, the sooner that the terrorists learn how futile their disruptions are. People that want to postpone elections seem to be saying to give the terrorists a win. Allow them to think that they have an impact on the future of this country. What America and Allawi seem to be saying is, no, they do not have a role to play in this country's history, but rather, we will succeed despite their attempts to derail us. We, as a peace-loving people, should be rooting for elections in Iraq as soon as possible. It will be a victory for the people of Iraq, and a major defeat to the terrorists.
